Terms of Service

Article 1 (Applicability)

This Agreement shall apply to all relations between the user and "Kokuhou.info" (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator") regarding the use of this website and the application "Kokuhou Dictionary" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

Article 2 (Prohibited Matters)

Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Acts related to criminal acts
  • Acts that infringe on copyrights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights contained in this Service
  • Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of the servers or networks of the Operator, other users, or any other third party
  • Acts of commercially utilizing information obtained through this Service
  • Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Operator's services
  • Acts of unauthorized access or attempting unauthorized access
  • Acts of collecting or accumulating personal information about other users
  • Acts of using the Service for fraudulent purposes
  • Acts of impersonating other users
  • Acts of directly or indirectly providing benefits to anti-social forces in connection with the Operator's services
  • Other acts that the Operator deems inappropriate

Article 3 (Suspension of Service Provision, etc.)

The Operator may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of the Service without prior notice to the user if it determines that any of the following reasons exist:

  • When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates of computer systems related to the Service
  • When the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fires, power outages, or natural disasters
  • When computers or communication lines, etc., stop due to an accident
  • Other cases where the Operator determines that the provision of the Service is difficult

The Operator shall not be held liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by the user or any third party due to the suspension or interruption of the Service.

Article 4 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability)

The Operator does not warrant, either express or implied, that the Service is free from any factual or legal defects (including but not limited to defects, errors, bugs, or infringements of rights related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, or security).

The Operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the user arising from the Service. The descriptions of National Treasures provided in the Service are automatically generated by AI, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of their content.

Article 5 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)

The Operator may modify, add, or discontinue the contents of the Service with prior notice to the users, and the users shall accept such changes.

Article 6 (Changes to Terms of Service)

The Operator may modify these Terms of Service without the individual consent of the user in the following cases:

  • When the modification of the Terms conforms to the general interest of the users.
  • When the modification of the Terms is not contrary to the purpose of using the Service and is reasonable.

Article 7 (Governing Law)

In interpreting these Terms, the laws of Japan shall be the governing law.
